Women's Golf Competes at Merrimack Invitational

KINGSTON, Mass. – The Southern New Hampshire University women's golf team competed at the Merrimack Invitational at Indian Pond Country Club Sunday and Monday.  The Penmen placed ninth overall.

Sophomore Aimee Cawlina (Peabody, Mass.) shot a career-best 92 on Monday and finished the tournament 41st overall with a two-day total of 193.  Shelby Reed (Concord, N.H.) shot 102 on Sunday and 223 for the tournament, while Elizabeth Rennie (Falmouth, Mass.) finished at 252.  Beth Anderson (Cumberland, R.I.) and Elisha Melville rounded out the Penmen finishers.

Southern New Hampshire closes out the fall next Wednesday, October 15, when it hosts Franklin Pierce University in a dual match at Candia Woods Golf Links in Candia, N.H.
