– The Southern New Hampshire University
women's golf team opened its 2014-15 season at the Franklin
Pierce Fall Invitational at Bretwood Golf Course on Monday.
The Penmen posted a team score of 424 to finish second behind the
host Ravens.
Shelby Reed
(Concord, N.H.) led the Penmen with a fifth-place finish, carding a
90. Sophomore Aimee Cawlina (Peabody, Mass.)
finished at 97, while Beth Anderson (Cumberland,
R.I.) recorded a 117. Elizabeth Rennie
(North Falmouth, Mass.) rounded out the Penmen finishers with a
120.
The SNHU women's golf team
returns to action Sunday and Monday when it travels to the Le Moyne
Invitational at Timber Banks Golf Club in Baldwinsville, N.Y.
