The Southern New Hampshire University women's tennis team downed the University of New Haven 9-0 for its fifth straight victory Sunday.
The Penmen dropped just eight games in the victory. In doubles action, Nour Kaddour (Paris, France) and Ashley Loft (Leysin, Switzerland) were 8-0 winners at No. 1, while Rachel Wagner (Framingham, Mass.) and Lindsay Baum (North Salem, N.Y.) won 8-0 at No. 3.
Kaitlyn Poje (East Stroudsburg, Pa.), Baum and Wagner were all straight set winners at Nos. 4-6 singles, respectively.
Notes:
- SNHU sits in a three-way tie in the Northeast-10 standings in the loss column with Stonehill College and Assumption College. The Penmen have already defeated Stonehill, while they face the Greyhounds October 12.
- Southern New Hampshire improved to 8-0 all-time against New Haven.
What's Next:
With Monday's non-conference match against Post University postponed, the Penmen travel to Bentley University on Wednesday.
