Sophomores Sofia Morais (Porto, Portugal) and Anna Sala (Matadepera, Spain) each won a pair of matches to lead the Southern New Hampshire University women's tennis team to a 6-3 win against Post University on Sunday at the Saint Anselm Tennis Courts in the team's fall regular-season finale.

Southern New Hampshire captured two doubles matches to take a 2-1 lead into singles play. Morais and classmate Kaitlyn Poje (E. Stroudsburg, Pa.) defeated Liza Dubrovskaya and Brianna Miah, 8-5, at No. 1 doubles, while Sala and graduate student Abla Chadli (Rabat, Morocco) also recorded an 8-5 victory in the No. 2 slot against Natasha Siku and Madison Young. Sophomore Rachel Wagner (Framingham, Mass.) and junior Lindsay Baum (N. Salem, N.Y.) were beaten for the first time this season at No. 3 doubles, falling to Sarah Namazi and Jessica Bergen, 8-6.

Despite Chadli and Poje retiring midway through their singles matches, the Penmen were able to win the remainder of the singles tilts to take the match. Morais was a 6-0, 6-4 winner against Young at No. 2 singles, while Sala pulled out a 6-4, 4-6, 6-1 victory over Siku at No. 3 singles.

Wagner toppled Namazi, 6-4, 6-4 in the No. 5 slot, with Baum making quick work of Bergen at No. 6, 6-0, 6-0.

Notes:
- Baum and Wagner dip to 13-1 in doubles play this season.
- The retirement is also the first singles loss of the year for Chadli, who drops to 11-1.
