Women's Golf Finishes Third at Shortened Quechee Division II Challenge

Sophomore Kaitlyn Lutinski (Derry, N.H.) shot an 89 to finish 12th, overall, as the Southern New Hampshire University women's golf team placed third at the one-day Quechee Ladies Division II Challenge on Sunday at the Quechee Golf Club.

Sophomore Kailey Coleman (No. Berwick, Maine) was right behind Lutinski as she fired a 90 to finished 13th

Freshman Alyssa Scandura (Rocky Hill, Conn.) and senior Kerry Twomey (Londonderry, N.H.) each shot a 94 to tie for 16th.

Senior Aimee Cawlina (Peabody, Mass.) did not factor in the team score as she tied for 20th with a 95. 

Freshman Rachel Ruffino (W. Orange, N.J.), playing as an individual, totaled a 113.

Notes:
- The Quechee Ladies Division II Challenge, hosted by SNHU, was originally supposed to be played both Saturday and Sunday but was shortened to a one-day event with constant rain expected through Saturday.
- Dartmouth College captured the event with a 321, which was 23 strokes better than runner-up Long Island University-LIU Post.
-Dartmouth's Bethany Burns won individual medalist honors by shooting a 78.
- The Quechee Ladies Division II Challenge was comprised of 29 student-athletes from six institutions.
