Freshman Kaitlyn Lutinski (Derry, N.H.) fired a 79 on Sunday – the second best round of the day – to finish fifth overall as the Southern New Hampshire University women's golf team placed second at the Lady Penmen Spring Classic at Stonebridge Country Club.
The Penmen totaled a 712 to finish 147 strokes ahead of Assumption College, but 55 strokes back of Franklin Pierce University.
Lutinski recovered from Saturday's 91 to total a 170, which was 14 strokes off the pace.
Junior Aimee Cawlina (Peabody, Mass.), who led the Penmen with an 85 in round one, shot an 88 on Sunday to finish in sixth overall with a 173.
Freshman Kailey Coleman (North Berwick, Maine) carded an 87 in round two for a total of 184 that placed her 11th overall. Junior Kerry Twomey (Londonderry, N.H.) was right behind in 12th with a 185 (93/92).

- The Lady Penmen Spring Classic was comprised of 20 student-athletes from six institutions.
