Sophomore Kaitlyn Lutinski (Derry, N.H.) carded an 85 and currently sits in a tie for 22nd place as the Southern New Hampshire University women's golf team is 10th after the first round of the Le Moyne College Fall Invitational on Sunday at the Pompey Club.
Freshman Alyssa Scandura (Rocky Hill, Conn.) is in 44th after shooting a 96, while classmate Rachel Ruffino (W. Orange, N.J.) is right behind in a tie for 45th with a 97. Senior Kerry Twomey (Londonderry, N.H.) rounded out the Penmen scorers with a 98 and is in 47th place.
Notes:
-Senior Aimee Cawlina (Peabody, Mass.) matched Lutinski's 85 but played as an individual. Sophomore Kailey Coleman (N. Berwick, Maine) also did not factor in team scoring for the Penmen and totaled a 101.
- Gannon University is in first place with a score of 307, while Gannon's Julia Santo leads the field with a 2-under 70.
- The Le Moyne Fall Invitational is comprised of 59 student-athletes from 11 institutions.
The Penmen return to action Monday, Sept. 19 for the final round of the Le Moyne College Fall Invitational.
