Women's Golf Fourth Following First Round of Penmen Columbus Day Invite

Score: Southern New Hampshire University – 349 (4th/5)

Junior Kaitlyn Lutinski (Derry, N.H.) carded an 84 Saturday, as the Southern New Hampshire University women's golf team finished fourth after the opening round of the Penmen Columbus Day Invitational, which it hosted at the Derryfield Country Club.

Lutinski is in seventh place, one spot ahead of classmate Morgan Mitchell (Charlton, Mass.), who is tied for eighth after shooting an 85.

Freshman Makyla Lewellen (Zanesville, Ohio) and sophomore Brooke Barrett (Bedford, N.H.) are both tied for 17th, overall, with 90s.

Junior Kailey Coleman (No. Berwick, Maine) turned in a 98 and did not factor in the team scoring. 

Notes:
-Post University owns a six-shot lead over the College of the Holy Cross atop the leaderboard with a 325.
-Post's Amber Thompson-Newton is leading the pack by two strokes after firing a four-over 75.
-The Penmen Columbus Day Invitational is comprised of 28 individuals from six institutions.
