The Southern New Hampshire University women's tennis team fell to Brandeis University, 9-0, Friday afternoon at the Rieger Tennis Courts.
Graduate student Abla Chadli (Rabat, Morocco), ranked second in the region amongst singles players, put up a fight against Sabrina Neergaard at No. 1 singles before falling, 2-6, 6-7 (5-7).
Sophomore Anna Sala (Matadepera, Spain) also battled before dropping a 6-7 (2-7), 4-6, 10-12 decision to Keren Khromchenko at No. 3 singles.
Notes:
-SNHU loses for the fourth time in five matches.
-Southern New Hampshire is slotted sixth in the ITA East Region Rankings.
-Brandeis is ranked 18th in the country in Division III.
