Freshman Hannah May (Phoenix, Ariz.) carded a 79 at the opening round of Trevecca Nazarene University's Music City Invitational on Monday, as the Southern New Hampshire University women's golf team tied for 13^th at Old Hickory Country Club.

INDIVIDUAL SCORERS

• May is tied for 29^th and is nine shots off the pace.
• Sophomore Makyla Lewellen (Zanesville, Ohio) is tied for 48^th with an 82.
• Senior Morgan Mitchell (Charlton, Mass.) and junior Brooke Barrett (Bedford, N.H.) each shot an 86.

NOTES

• Senior Kailey Coleman (No. Berwick, Maine), did not factor into the scoring with a 91.
• Grand Valley State University is in first place with a 297, which is four shots better than the University of Indianapolis.
• Indianapolis' Pilar Echeverria is atop the leaderboard with a 2-under 70 – one stroke up on the rest of the field.
• The Music City Invitational is comprised of 104 student-athletes from 20 institutions.
