Senior Morgan Mitchell (Charlton, Mass.) and freshman Hannah May (Phoenix, Ariz.) each carded a 78, as the Southern New Hampshire University women's golf team finished second at the Penmen Columbus Day Intercollegiate Classic on Sunday at Derryfield Country Club.

INDIVIDUAL SCORERS

• Mitchell placed fourth with a 152, after pairing her 78 with Saturday's 74.
• May matched her opening-round score to total a 156 that slotted her seventh.
• Sophomore Makyla Lewellen (Zanesville, Ohio) followed up her 82 with an 83, finishing 14^th with a 165.
•  Freshman Anna Casagrande (Pelham, Mass.) and senior Kaitlyn Lutinski (Derry, N.H.) each shot an 87 – with one being dropped. Casagrande tied for 16^th with a 169, while Lutinski tied for 18^th with a 172.

NOTES

• Junior Brooke Barrett (Bedford, N.H.), playing as an individual, totaled a 161 to place 12^th. She carded a 78 Saturday before shooting 83.
• Senior Kailey Coleman (No. Berwick, Maine; 88/85), freshman Halle Clark (Meriden, N.H.;103/102), and sophomore Rachel Bruno (Dedham, Mass.; 125/110), also playing as individuals, totaled 173, 205, and 235, respectively.
• Merrimack College captured the event with a 609, which was 33 shots better than SNHU.
• Merrimack's Krystal Knight earned individual medalist honors with a 1-under 143, beating her teammate, Jordan Laplume, by six strokes.
• The Penmen Columbus Day Intercollegiate Classic was comprised of 33 student-athletes from six institutions.
