Notes: The Penmen, ranked No. 20 in the most recent USILA Coaches' poll, head into their second regular-season game at Penmen Stadium looking to remain unbeaten after a season-opening, 14-11, victory over Georgian Court University on February 24. After surrendering a 6-4 lead early in the second half, senior Devin Calkins (Bow, N.H.) keyed a three-goal run that established a 9-7 advantage for the hosts. The Lions battled back to knot the score at nine apiece, but Southern New Hampshire closed out the game with five of the final seven goals to secure the stadium and season-opening win. Calkins led the way with four points on a hat trick and a helper, while classmate Corey Cairo (Shoreham, N.Y.) turned in a hat trick of his own. A total of four Penmen registered three-point outings in front of senior Michael Brawley (Tewksbury, Mass.), who stopped 11 shots in the win.

Notes: The Golden Falcons make the trip to Manchester in search of their first win as a varsity program, as they've fallen in their first two outings of their inaugural season. Felician opened the year with a 21-4 setback on February 20 to the University of the District of Columbia before falling in its second home tilt of the season, 16-6, to Ohio Valley University. Freshman Mike Guaragno (Montgomery, N.Y.) shouldered the offensive load in the Golden Falcons most recent outing, as he scored twice and added an assist, while classmate Patrick McAndrew (Newton, N.J.) chipped in with two goals of his own. Fellow freshman Daniel Wright (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) has been the leader up front for Felician, as he has five points through the first two games of his career.
