MANCHESTER, N.H. - After completing season No. 5 in which it produced its best finish ever at the Northeast-10 Championship, the Southern New Hampshire University women's golf team is primed to take the next step in 2018-19. The Penmen begin the season Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 15 & 16 when they take part in the Darmouth Invitational at Hanover (N.H.) Country Club. SNHU will also host an event as part of its six-tournament fall slate, with the Penmen Columbus Day Intercollegiate Classic happening Oct. 6-7 at Derryfield Country Club in Manchester.

"We have a very strong schedule this season, with a pair of Division I tournaments for the first time in the program's history," said head coach Matt Arvanitis. "We are going to be playing some nationally-ranked teams throughout the year, so our strength of schedule should make for an exciting season."
