Graduate student Morgan Mitchell (Charlton, Mass.) and sophomore Hannah May (Phoenix, Ariz.) each carded an 81, as the Southern New Hampshire University women's golf team finished fourth at the Northeast-10 Championship on Monday at the Shenendoah Golf Course at Turning Stone.
INDIVIDUAL SCORERS
- Mitchell and May, who both shot 86 in the opening round, tied for 14th with a 167.
- Sophomore Anna Casagrande (Pelham, Mass.) improved upon Sunday's round by one shot with an 82 that tied her for 12th with a 165.
- Freshman Gabby Thomas (Johnstown, Ohio), who led the way in the opening round with a 79, penciled in an 84 to tie for ninth with a 163.
NOTES
- Junior Makyla Lewellen (Zanesville, Ohio), who did not factor into the scoring, matched her 85 from the first round and tied for 21st with a 170.
- Franklin Pierce University captured the league title with a 622, which was 27 shots better than runner-up Assumption College.
- FPU's Jinnapat Rittawee, who sank a hole-in-one during the round, earned individual medalist honors with a 4-over 148 - two strokes better than Le Moyne College's Bianca Cruz-Hernandez.
- The Northeast-10 Championship was comprised of 37 golfers from seven institutions.
