Sophomore Hannah May (Phoenix, Ariz.) shot a 75 on Sunday in the final round of the Le Moyne Fall Invitational, as the Southern New Hampshire University women's golf team finished second, overall, at The Links at Erie Village.

INDIVIDUAL SCORERS

• May, who finished seventh, took 11 strokes off her opening round to total a 161.
• Freshman Gabby Thomas (Johnstown, Ohio), who led the way Saturday with a 75, carded a 77 in the closing round to place third with a 152.
• Graduate student Morgan Mitchell (Charlton, Mass.) tied for fourth, as she bettered her first round by three shots with a 78 that gave her a 159.
• Junior Makyla Lewellen (Zanesville, Ohio) rounded out the Penmen scorers with an 81 that tied her for ninth. She improved upon Saturday's score by two shots to claim a 164.

NOTES

• Sophomore Anna Casagrande (Pelham, Mass.) did not factor into the team scoring with an 84, finishing tied for 21st with a 176 after beating her first-round score by eight shots. 
• The 311 team score for the Penmen in the second round sets a new program record, topping the 316 from Oct. 6 of last season at the Penmen Fall Invitational.
• Franklin Pierce University defeated Southern New Hampshire by 18 shots with a 618.
• FPU's Jinnapat Rittawee shot an even-par 71 to finish with a 1-over 143, defeating teammate Zoey Yamamoto by six strokes.
• The Le Moyne College Fall Invitational was comprised of 44 golfers from seven institutions.

WHAT'S NEXT

• The Penmen return to action Sept. 22-23 when they compete at the Franklin Pierce Invitational at the Keene (N.H.) Country Club.
