Chiara Di Valerio (Terni, Italy) continued her stellar play with a career-high 18 kills Saturday, as the Southern New Hampshire University women's volleyball team tallied a 3-1 victory against the College of Saint Rose at Nolan Gymnasium. Set scores were 21-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-14.

KEY MOMENTS
- Southern New Hampshire trailed, 1-0, in the match, and held on to a two-point lead in the second set when two kills from Thawnghmung powered a 5-0 run that leveled the match.
- Saint Rose closed to within 24-22 in the third stanza, but Pacini ended it with a kill that put the Penmen up, 2-1.
- SNHU led by two in the fourth when it used a 15-6 burst to hold off the Golden Knights and clinch the match. Di Valerio and Thawnghmung each recorded three kills during the stretch, while Pacini and Fontaine added two apiece.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Senior Grace Pierce (Fairfax, Va.) chipped in three kills, two aces, two blocks and two digs.
- SNHU outhit Saint Rose in each of the final three sets, as well as .273-.218 for the match.
- The Penmen owned an 11-1 advantage in aces, while blocks were tied, 5-5.
NOTES
- Southern New Hampshire has won five of its last seven, as well as five of its last six NE10 matches.
- SNHU's 10-8 start to the season matches its same record through 18 contests in the 2019 campaign.
