KEY MOMENTS
  • The first set was a three-point affair when Adelphi used a pair of Kambel Fisher kills to jump-start a 6-1 run that gave it a commanding 22-14 lead.
  • Southern New Hampshire jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the second stanza and was in front, 19-15, when a 6-3 flurry – with a pair of kills from Pacini – evened the match.
  • Adelphi led, 21-19, in the third set, before it tallied four of the final five points to push the Penmen to the brink.
  • SNHU looked like it would answer the bell, holding a 20-15 advantage before four straight points – powered by a pair of kills from Samantha Collins and two aces by Jaydin Nowak – trimmed the Adelphi deficit to one. Still, the Penmen responded with three-in-a-row to seize as 23-19 lead. Adelphi would answer with six straight, however, to steal the set and cement the victory.
