FLUSHING, N.Y. - Graduate student Natalie Kallmunzerova (Prague, Czech Republic) won two matches Sunday to capture the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) East Region Singles Championship. Kallmunzerova, seeded 16th, will now take part in the ITA Cup on Oct. 14-17 at the Rome (Ga.) Tennis Center at Berry College.

Kallmunzerova and doubles partner, junior Magdalena Hubickova (Prague, Czech Republic), who were seeded fifth, also nearly advanced to the finals of the doubles bracket, but fell to the top seed in the semifinals.
