Senior Anna Casagrande (Pelham, Mass.) shot an 80 in the opening round of the Franklin Pierce University Fall Invitational on Sunday afternoon, as the Southern New Hampshire University women's golf team took part at Keene Country Club.
INDIVIDUAL PERFORMERS
- Casagrande is tied for seventh at seven strokes off the pace.
- Junior Gabby Thomas (Johnstown, Ohio) penciled in an 83 on her scorecard and currently sits in 11th.
NOTES
- Franklin Pierce's Alia Godek leads the field with a 1-over 73.
- While the Penmen are not competing as a team, Franklin Pierce is in first with a 307, which is 21 shots better than the field.
- The FPU Fall Invitational is made up of 36 golfers from six different institutions.
