ROME, Ga. – Senior Magdalena Hubickova (Prague, Czech Republic) and graduate student Alexxa Etienne (Bayamon, Puerto Rico) of the Southern New Hampshire University women's tennis team were eliminated in the quarterfinal round of the ITA Cup at the Rome Tennis Center on Friday.
Hubickova and Etienne were defeated by Franklin Pierce University's Aynara Ferra and Maria Penalver, 6-2, 3-6, 10-8.
Hubickova, Etienne and the Penmen wrap up the regular season by playing host to Bentley University at the Ouellette Stadium Tennis Courts on Saturday, Oct. 15 (1 p.m.).
