Graduate student Sara Montefameglio (Turin, Italy) notched a double-double, including 31 assists, to help lead the Southern New Hampshire University women's volleyball team to a 3-0 triumph over Southern Connecticut State University on Saturday afternoon at the Stan Spirou Field House.

KEY MOMENTS
- SNHU scored the first seven points of the match behind kills from four different Penmen, including two from Pimenta. Southern Connecticut trimmed its deficit to four late, but SNHU tallied three of the final four points, including a pair of kills from Thawnghmung, to go up, 1-0.
- Southern New Hampshire began the second stanza on a 9-2 run, as three different servers contributed an ace and Arletti added a pair of kills. Another 9-2 flurry – powered by three kills from Di Valerio – widened the gap to 19-7. The Owls answered with a 5-2 spurt, but SNHU notched four of the final five points, including a pair of aces from sophomore Ava Czyzewski (Windermere, Fla.), to take a commanding 2-0 lead.
- The Penmen were clinging to a 19-18 advantage in the third frame when they rattled off five straight and six of the final seven to end the match. Pimenta collected a pair of kills during the stretch.
