Sophomore Annemartine Christis (s'Hertogenbosch, Netherlands) notched a goal and an assist, and freshman Emma Peeters (Wageningen, Netherlands) made six saves, to lead the Southern New Hampshire University field hockey team to a 2-0 victory against Saint Michael's College on Tuesday afternoon at Larkin Field.

KEY MOMENTS
  • With the game mired in a scoreless deadlock, Christis sent a blast from just inside the top of the arc that snuck inside the right post with just 1:20 on the clock in the second quarter.
  • The score stayed that way until the final six seconds when Bates cleaned up a loose ball in front. Christis collected the assist.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
  • SNHU held an 13-10 edge in shots, including 11-6 in shots on goal.
  • The Penmen also owned a narrow 7-5 advantage in penalty corners.
