Graduate student Alice Arletti (Modena, Italy) posted nine kills and four blocks to help the Southern New Hampshire University women's volleyball team blank cross-town rival Saint Anselm College, 3-0, Wednesday night at the Stan Spirou Field House.

KEY MOMENTS
- Southern New Hampshire held a two-point edge in the opening set when four Saint Anselm errors fueled a 5-0 run that made it 22-15. The Hawks would counter with five of the next six, but two more errors gave the Penmen the first set.
- The second set was knotted at 24-all when a Saint Anselm service error and a Bernardis kill put SNHU on top in the match, 2-0.
- Trailing by two in the third set, SNHU reeled off a 6-1 run that put it up, 22-19, but Saint Anselm would notch four of the next five to tie it at 23. Back-to-back kills from Arletti ended it.

- Graduate student Sara Montefameglio (Turin, Italy) tallied 18 assists and five digs.
- Senior Ainsley Knox (Houston, Texas) recorded 12 assists and two digs.

- SNHU outhit Saint Anselm in the first two sets, as well as .186-.105, overall.
- The Penmen owned an 11-6 advantage in blocks.
- The Hawks held a 4-3 edge in aces.
NOTES
- Southern New Hampshire snaps a two-match skid and has now captured six of its last eight.
- Saint Anselm had won nine of the last 11 meetings between the two teams, including the most recent match eight days prior on Oct. 18 (3-1).
- The win snaps a two-match home losing streak to the Hawks and is the first win in the Field House over Saint Anselm since Aug. 26, 2018 (3-1).
- It is SNHU's first three-set win over Saint Anselm since Sept. 9, 2015 and is the first 3-0 victory at home versus the Hawks since Sept. 7, 2010.
- The Penmen earn one point in the Queen City Cup standings with the win. Saint Anselm holds a 7-5 edge in the battle for Manchester supremacy.
