Female Athlete of the Week: Deanne Wilson - Women's Volleyball - So., L
Deanne Wilson (Buffalo, N.Y.) took home her third NE10 Libero of the Week honor earlier Monday, as she recorded 57 digs (5.70 d/s) and a pair of aces (0.20 sa/s) during a 2-1 week for the Penmen. Wilson tallied 15 digs and two aces in a 3-0 win over Saint Anselm College on Wednesday, collected a match-high 22 digs in Saturday's 3-0 loss at Adelphi University and racked up 20 more digs in a 3-1 victory at Pace University on Sunday.
Male Athlete of the Week: Luca Shubitidze - Men's Soccer - Jr., M
Luca Shubitidze (Leipzig, Germany) scored a pair of first-half goals Tuesday, as SNHU rolled to a 5-0 victory against American International College that landed the Penmen the No. 4 seed and a quarterfinal home match in the NE10 Championship.

- Women's soccer went 1-1-0 last week, pulling out a clutch, 2-1 victory at Bentley University on Wednesday in the regular-season finale to secure the No. 8 seed in the NE10 Championship. The Penmen dropped a 3-0 decision to the top-ranked College of Saint Rose in the quarters Sunday.
- Senior Victoria Roulston (E. Falmouth, Mass.) scored to tie the Bentley match late in the 27th minute.
- Freshman Arianna Georgantas (W. Bridgewater, Mass.) scored the eventual game winner in the 40th minute against the Falcons. She was named the NE10 Rookie of the Week earlier Monday.
- Graduate student Hannah Rose (Waterloo, Ontario) made a season-high nine saves to backbone the Bentley win. She made seven more stops at Saint Rose.

- Men's soccer went 1-0-1 last week, scoring a decisive 5-0 victory in Tuesday's regular-season finale against American International College to collect the No. 4 seed and a home match in the quarterfinal round of the NE10 Championship. The Penmen played 110 minutes of scoreless soccer with the fifth-seeded College of Saint Rose, before defeating the Golden Knights in penalty kicks, 5-3.
- Junior Luca Shubitidze (Leipzig, Germany) scored a pair of first-half goals against AIC and was selected as the NE10 Player of the Week earlier Monday.
- Sophomore Isnaba Namussé (Fogo, Cape Verde) anchored a back line that limited AIC to just seven shots, including three on net, in the shutout victory. He was chosen as the NE10 Defensive Player of the Week earlier Monday.
- Freshman Philipp Hermann (Bruckmuehl, Germany) found the back of the net in the 33rd minute to make it 3-0. Hermann was tabbed as the NE10 Rookie of the Week earlier Monday.
- Juniors Nicolas Gonzalez (Santander, Spain) and Mathis Daury (Tours, France) also netted goals for the Penmen against the Yellow Jackets, while senior Gabe Pinhancos (North Attleboro, Mass.) and freshman Iago Perez (Oleiros, Spain) each dished a pair of assists.
- Senior Paul Makaj (Lagrangeville, N.Y.) potted the lone goal against Saint Rose in the 59th minute.
- Sophomore Preston Neal (Windham, N.H.) stopped seven of the eight shots he faced over the two matches. Neal made the only stop he needed to over the opening 56:43 against AIC and then made six saves versus Saint Rose. Junior Christian da Cruz (Ludlow, Mass.) stopped the two shots he faced over the final 33:17 against the Yellow Jackets.

Notes:
- Volleyball went 2-1 last week, blanking cross-town rival Saint Anselm College, 3-0, Wednesday, falling to Adelphi University in three sets Saturday and defeating Pace University, 3-1, Sunday.
- Redshirt-junior Ana Pimenta (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) tallied 36 kills (3.60 k/s), 33 digs (3.30 d/s) and 10 blocks (1.0 b/s) during the week. Pimenta posted 13 kills, 11 digs and a block against Saint Anselm, and added 10 kills, 12 digs and a pair of blocks at Adelphi, before capping the week with 13 kills, 10 digs and a career-high six blocks versus Pace.
- Sophomore Deanne Wilson (Buffalo, N.Y.) took home her third NE10 Libero of the Week honor earlier Monday, as she recorded 57 digs (5.70 d/s) and a pair of aces (0.20 sa/s). - Graduate student Sara Montefameglio (Turin, Italy) amassed 88 assists (8.80 a/s), three aces (0.30 sa/s), 22 digs (2.20 d/s) and five blocks (0.50 b/s). Montefameglio was eased back in after missing four matches and came off the bench against the Hawks to register 18 assists and five digs. She returned to the starting lineup at Adelphi with 24 helpers, an ace and 10 digs, before producing 46 assists, two aces, seven digs and five blocks versus the Setters.

Emma Peeters (Wageningen, The Netherlands) stopped 13 of the 14 shots she faced. She made six saves in the shutout of Saint Michael's and added seven versus the Owls.
-With two weeks remaining in the regular season, the Penmen sit in seventh place in the NE10 with hopes of securing a top-eight finish and advancing to the Championship.

- Cross country was off last week and is back at it Sunday at the NE10 Championships.
- The SNHU women have finished in the top three in each of the last two Conference Championship races, but have not won. The Penmen finished third last year, led by top-five finishes by graduate student Ashley Corcoran (third) and Jill Couto (fifth). AIC ended an 11-year domination by Stonehill College with a win last season.
- The SNHU men finished seventh in last year's Championship and have finished as high as third place (2017). AIC is the two-time defending champion.

- Women's basketball dropped a 91-43 decision to Big East member Providence College in an exhibition contest on Tuesday at Alumni Hall in Rhode Island.
- Senior Adriana Timberlake (Braintree, Mass.) paced the Penmen with 13 points (5-15 FG, 3-9 3-FG) and three rebounds.
- Senior Ariana Koivisto (Pomfret, Conn.) recorded 12 points (3-10 FG, 3-6 3-FG, 3-4 FT) and three boards.

- Men's basketball played its first of two Division I tuneups Saturday, falling to St. John's University, 82-41. The Penmen trailed by just nine at the half before the Red Storm ran away with it down the stretch.
- Junior Noah Kamba (Lynn, Mass.) scored a team-high nine points (3-7 FG, 3-5 3-FG) to go with four rebounds and two assists.
- Junior Matt Becht (Vienna, Va.) posted eight points (2-11 FG, 2-10 3-FG, 2-2 FT), and four boards.
- Sophomore Ethan Okwuosa (No. Haven, Conn.) registered seven points (3-14 FG, 1-4 3-FG) and three rebounds.

- Men's ice hockey went 0-2-0 to open the season last week, dropping a 5-1 decision to Saint Anselm College on Friday night, before being doubled up by Framingham State University, 4-2.
- Senior George Thurston (Plymouth, Mass.) tallied a power-play goal in the third period against Anselm Anselm.
-Â Goals by freshman Alex Muthersbagh (Gilford, N.H.) and senior Tim Usalis (Danvers, Mass.) helped rally the Penmen to 3-2 against the Rams, but they could not close the gap further.
