- After a scoreless first half, the Penmen needed just 6:13 of play in the second stanza to break the ice, with Shubitidze burying a free kick to make it 1-0.
- SNHU doubled its lead just 57 seconds later when Selva found Perez for a goal that made it 2-0.
- Bentley would make it interesting with a Johann Fraser goal with 8:01 remaining, but the Falcons would never seriously threaten again.
