MANSFIELD, Mass. – SNHU freshman Brendan Lynch (Nepean, Ont.) has been named NE10 Rookie of the Week for Nov. 20 after scoring his first career goal, and handing out four assists in the three Penmen games last week. The award was announced Monday afternoon.
Lynch opened the week with an assist in the Tuesday contest at Rivier University, and then followed it up with a goal and three assists in SNHU's 7-4 win over Franklin Pierce Friday night.
SNHU (3-6-0/3-4-0 NE10) will host the annual Stovepipe Tournament at the Ice Den November 26 and 27. On Saturday, the Penmen will play Tufts University at 1:40 p.m. UMass Dartmouth and New England College will clash in the second game. On Sunday, a consolation and championship game will be played starting at 1:40 p.m.
