KEY MOMENTS
  • Southern New Hampshire held a one-point lead less than five minutes in when Dominican buried three straight 3-pointers to grab its largest lead of the contest at 16-8 with 13:51 remaining in the opening half. A 7-0 counter-run from SNHU – capped by a Guillory dunk – tied the game at 18-all with 10:28 left. Another 7-0 blitz later on gave the Penmen their largest lead of the day at 37-31 with 2:03 on the clock. They would cling to a 37-35 edge at the break.
  • SNHU held a five-point lead just under five minutes into the second half before Dominican ripped off 11 straight to leapfrog in front, 50-44, with 12:54 to play. The Penmen would chip away at the deficit and eventually take a 61-60 lead on a thunderous put-back dunk from Guillory with 8:16 on the clock.
  • The teams swapped the lead four times, with Southern New Hampshire on top, 73-72, with 48 seconds left when Dominican took the lead with a pair of free throws. After a Penmen miss, the Chargers converted a layup to extend the lead to 76-73 with 24 ticks left. SNHU then turned it over on back-to-back possessions, with Dominican going 2-for-4 from the line to give the Penmen hope, but a late layup made it a one-possession game and the clock would run out.
