Corry Long (Cincinnati, Ohio) scored a game-high 25 points, but the Southern New Hampshire men's basketball dropped a 73-64 decision at NE10 rival Assumption University on Saturday afternoon.

- Njavan Stewart and Isiah Gaiter scored 23 and 21 points respectively for the Greyhounds.
KEY MOMENTS
- Assumption led for most of the first half including an 8-point lead at 17-9, but the Penmen were able to tighten things and trailed 23-19 at the half.
- The Greyhounds stretched the lead to 37-28 with 14:45 left in the second half, before a 15-3 SNHU run gave them a 43-40 lead at 10:44.
- The Penmen trailed 59-58 before Assumption went on an 8-0 run to reestablish its lead and build a cushion for the final minutes of the game. A Stewart trifecta with 1:14 left to play helped iced the win for the home team.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- SNHU held a decisive advantage in bench points at 26-10.
- The Penmen shot 25-for-63 for the game (40.73%) with 7-of-21(33.3%) makes from beyond the arc.

- Despite being a close game throughout, the Penmen only led once during the contest.
NOTES
- Assumption split the season series with the win as SNHU won on its home court 89-85 on Nov. 17.
- SNHU saw its season-best five-game winning streak end.
- The Penmen are now just 4-6 on the road compared to 6-1 at the friendly confines of the Stan Spirou Field House.
- The 63 points was a season-low for the Penmen, which average 78.7 points per game.
