MANSFIELD, Mass. – Senior
Caela McCartney (Arvada, Colo) of the Southern New Hampshire University women's lacrosse team was selected the NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week for the period ending April 17, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
McCartney stopped 21 of the 33 shots that came her way during a 2-0 week for the Penmen. She made five saves on eight attempts in the final 23:30 of Wednesday's 20-10 victory against AIC and then turned aside 16 of 25 bids in Saturday's 14-9 win at No. 21 New Haven.
SNHU returns to action on Tuesday (April 19) at 4 p.m. to play host to NE10 foe St. Michael's College. The game will be senior night for the Penmen.
