Female Athlete of the Week: Ashley Corcoran - Women's Cross Country - Gr.
Ashley Corcoran (East Longmeadow, Mass.) won the race for the third time (2019, 2021) with a time of 24:14.9, as women's cross country captured its third straight Shacklette Invitational on Saturday. Corcoran was chosen as the NE10 Athlete of the Week earlier Tuesday.

Male Athlete of the Week: Jackson Rivers - Men's Soccer - Gr., GK
Jackson Rivers (Epping, N.H.) stopped all 10 shots he faced during a 2-0-0 week for the Penmen to record a pair of shutouts. Rivers made two saves in Thursday's season-opening 1-0 victory against Georgian Court University and then turned aside all eight bids that came his way in Saturday's 3-0 win over Queens (N.Y.) College. For his efforts, Rivers was named the NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week on Monday.

Women's Soccer (2-0-0, 0-0-0 NE10)

Notes:
- The Penmen improved to 2-0-0 with a 4-0 blanking of the College of Staten Island on Saturday.
- Junior Nida Orloff (Leicester, Mass.) notched a goal and an assist in the win, setting the tone with a goal just two minutes into the contest. Her helper came in the 15th minute on a tally that extended the lead to 2-0.
- Freshman Georgia Greene (Clifton Park, N.Y.) also registered a goal and an assist. Greene set up Orloff's goal and then put the finishing touches on the win with a goal in the 79th minute.
- Sophomore Alyssa Anderson (Londonderry, N.H.) and senior Allison Beaumont (Milton, Ontario) also scored goals for SNHU.
- Graduate student Hannah Rose (Waterloo, Ontario) turned aside the only shot that came her way in the opening 70:37, while freshman Claudia Keith (Danvers, Mass.) made her collegiate debut, but did not see a shot over the final 19:23.

Notes:
- Men's soccer began the season 2-0-0 for the first time since 2018 with a 1-0 victory against Georgian Court University on Thursday and a 3-0 blanking of Queens (N.Y.) College on Saturday.
- Graduate student goalkeeper Jackson Rivers (Epping, N.H.) stopped all 10 shots he faced to record a pair of shutouts. Rivers made two saves against Georgian Court and then turned aside all eight bids that came his way versus Queens (N.Y.). For his efforts, Rivers was named the NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week on Monday.
- Junior Luca Shubitidze (Leipzig, Germany) notched a goal and two assists during the week. Shubitidze's corner service led to the lone goal in the 62nd minute in the season-opening win. He then set up the first Penmen goal in the 26th minute and scored his own in the 35th minute in the triumph over Queens.
- Grad student Julio Betar (Melbourne, Australia) helped anchor a back line that back-boned the pair of shutouts. SNHU allowed just two shots on goal to Georgian Court, while Betar scored the game's first goal in the 26th minute against Queens. Betar was selected as the NE10 Defensive Player of the Week on Monday.

Women's Volleyball (6-2, 0-0 NE10)

- Volleyball is is 6-2 for the first time since 2010 after splitting four matches at the Flagler Saints Classic in St. Augustine, Fla., over the weekend. The Penmen opened with a loss to Eckerd College on Friday before salvaging the day with a 3-1 win over Bemidji State University. On Saturday, SNHU suffered a heart-breaking five-set loss to host Flagler College and capped the trip with a 3-1 tirumph over Emmanuel (Ga.) College.
- Redshirt-junior Ana Pimenta (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) totaled 44 kills (2.75 k/s), an ace, 44 digs (2.75 d/s) and seven blocks (0.44 b/s) during the week. Pimenta recorded a pair of double-doubles in Saturday's double-dip. Pimenta posted 15 kills, 24 digs, an ace and three blocks in the loss to Flagler and added 14 kills and 14 digs in the victory against Emmanuel (Ga.).
- Graduate student Sara Montefameglio (Turin, Italy) amassed 108 assists (6.75 a/s), eight aces (0.50 sa/s), 39 digs (2.44 d/s) and eight kills (0.50 k/s). Montefameglio tallied 30 assists, two aces, four digs and three kills in the defeat of Bemidji State. Montefameglio registered 38 helpers, three aces, 14 digs and three kills against Flagler. She also notched 26 assists, two aces and 14 digs against Emmanuel (Ga.) later Saturday.
- Senior Dai Thawnghmung (Lowell, Mass.) recorded 41 kills (2.56 k/s), 31 digs (1.94 d/s) and three blocks (0.19 b/s), while classmate Juliana Pacini (Sao Paulo, Brazil) racked up 38 kills (2.38 l/s), four aces, 43 digs (2.69 d/s) and four blocks (0.25 b/s).

Field Hockey (0-1, 0-0 NE10)

9/9 at Saint Michael's - 7 p.m.

Notes:
- Field hockey began the season 0-1 with a 5-1 loss to Converse University on Saturday.
- Freshman Bernardita Diaz De Vivar (Buenos Aires, Argentina) scored off a penalty corner at the 42:11 mark for the first Penmen goal of the season and the first goal of her career.
- Freshman goalie Emma Peeters (Wageningen, Netherlands) made eight saves.

- The women's and men's cross country teams ran their first race of the season Saturday at Saint Anselm College's Shacklette Invitational.
- The women came away victorious for the third consecutive season, with graduate student Ashley Corcoran (East Longmeadow, Mass.) winning the race for the third time (2019, 2021) with a time of 24:14.9. Corcoran was chosen as the NE10 Athlete of the Week earlier Tuesday.
- The men also captured the meet for the first time since going back-to-back ion 2018 and 2019, led by graduate student Jacob Logan (Norwood, Mass.), who clocked in at a time of 27:54.5. Logan was also picked as the NE10 Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.
