Redshirt-senior Ana Pimenta (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) reeled off 11 kills on .526 hitting to lead the Southern New Hampshire University women's volleyball team to a 3-0 victory against Southern Connecticut State University on Friday evening at Pelz Gymnasium.

KEY MOMENTS
- Southern New Hampshire led, 16-15, in the opening set when it ripped off a 9-1 run to end the frame and go up, 1-0. Koelb, Peli and Pimenta each recorded a pair of kills during the stretch.
- SNHU similarly closed the second set with a 7-1 flurry, which featured five SCSU errors to take a commanding 2-0 advantage.
- The Penmen jumped out to a 6-1 lead in the third set and were ahead, 23-18, when a kill by senior Ava Czyzewski (Windermere, Fla.) and a Southern Connecticut service error ended the match.

- Southern New Hampshire has won five of its last six matches, including three straight – all in three sets.
- The Penmen improve to 11-9 all-time against the Owls. SNHU has won seven of the last 10 matchups, including four straight. Southern New Hampshire, which also defeated Southern Connecticut, 3-0, at home back on Sept. 3, has won two-in-a-row versus the Owls on the road.
