Keith is NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week for the third time this season

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Graduate student Victoria Roulston (E. Falmouth, Mass.) of the Southern New Hampshire University women's soccer team was chosen as the NE10 Player of the Week, while sophomore Claudia Keith (Danvers, Mass.) was crowned the NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week, both for the period ending Oct. 29, the league office announced Monday afternoon.

Roulston notched seven points on three goals and an assist during a 2-0-0 week for the Penmen. Roulston snapped a scoreless tie just 5:44 after halftime in an eventual 2-0 win over 23rd-ranked Saint Anselm College on Tuesday, and then registered two goals and an assist in Saturday's 4-1 victory at Pace University. Roulston set up the first strike of the match in the 21st minute before adding her own tally in the 25th. She added the exclamation point with her second of the night in the 77th minute.

Keith, who also captured the accolade Sept. 4 and Sept. 18, stopped four of the five shots she faced during the week. She made all three saves she needed to for the clean sheet at Saint Anselm and then turned away one shot in the victory at Pace.

Roulston has started all 14 matches she has played in this season, gathering 11 points on five goals and an assist. She places 13th in the league in goals and 18th in points.

In 15 matches, including 14 starts, Keith is 7-3-5 with three shutouts, a 1.24 goals-against average and .783 save percentage. She ranks third in the NE10 in wins, fourth in saves (65) and minutes (1305:00), fifth in save percentage, seventh in GAA and ninth in shutouts.

Roulston, Keith and the Penmen wrap up the regular season Wednesday (Nov. 1) at 6 p.m. when they play host to Bentley University at Ouellette Stadium. SNHU can clinch an NE10 Championship quarterfinal home match with a win or a tie.
