KEY MOMENTS
- A hot-shooting Purple Knight squad gave them a 22-18 lead at the end of the first quarter, although Timberlake hit four field goals in the frame for nine points.
- The first quarter featured the first career field goal for SNHU freshman Madison Hughes (Columbia, Conn.)
- SNHU rallied to take a 35-33 lead at the half with the Penmen holding a 12-0 advantage on points off turnovers.Â
- The Penmen won the third quarter 30-13, outscoring the Purple Knights during one stretch 20-2. Timberlake and Wager each scored 10 points in the quarter and Knight added eight.
- SNHU drew even at 37-37 on a Gordon free throw with 8:00 to play, but Post answered with a five-point run and held the lead the rest of the game.

- Sophomore Meghan Gordon (Attleboro, Mass.) contributed 6 points and 5 rebounds.
- Freshman Ava Winterburn (New Boston, N.H.) added 4 points.
- Senior Julia Colby (So. Paris, Maine) and Hughes each had three points, while sophomore Hailey Sherrick (Braintree, Mass.) and junior Sydnie DeVries (Monson, Mass.) each scored 2 points.
- SNHU finished the game 32-62 (51.6%) including 5-10 (50.0%) on its three-point field goals. Saint Michael's shot 18-56 (32.1 %) and 5-15 (33.3%) from downtown.
- Saint Michael's won the boards 35-34, but turned the ball over 26 times to just 13 for the Penmen.
- The Penmen had a 33-0 advantage on points off turnovers a 50-14 edge on points in the paint. SNHU also had a 26-4 advantage on fast break points.
NOTES
- SNHU bounced back from a non-conference loss at Post Saturday to improve to 3-0 in the Northeast-10.
- Saint Michael's leads the all-time series 31-25, although the Penmen have won the last 7 meetings.
- SNHU is now 46-16 (.738) since the start of the 2021-22 season, including 22-8 (.733) at the Stan Spirou Field House.
- Timberlake's 23 points were a season-high and the six steals were a career-high.
