KEY MOMENTS
- The Penmen opened the game with a 10-4 run, building a game-high six-point lead with 6:43 remaining in the first after a Timberlake jump shot.
- Bentley responded with a 7-0 run and led 15-14 after the first quarter.
- The Falcons outscored the Penmen 9-4 in the second quarter and lead 24-18 at halftime.
- SNHU tied the game at 26-26 on a layup by senior Ariana Koivisto (Pomfret, Conn.), but the Falcons finished the quarter on a 16-6 run to lead by 10 heading to the fourth quarter.
- Bentley played almost the entire fourth quarter with a double-digit lead.Â
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Bentley hit on 42.3% (22-52) of its field goals. SNHU was 36.4% (20-55).
- Both teams struggled from beyond the arc with Bentley hitting 2-13. The Penmen were just 1-13 for the contest.
- The Falcons hit 73.7% (14-19) from the line while the Penmen were 58.3% (7-12).
- The Penmen were outrebounded 38-28 and the Falcons had an 8-6 edge on offensive rebounds, and a 6-5 advantage on second-chance points.
- Bentley turned the ball over 24 times and SNHU had 22 turnovers.
- Maggie Whitmore tallied a game-high 21 points for Bentley on 8-11 shooting and a perfect 5-5 from the line. Ciara Norman had a career-high 19 points and pulled down 14 rebounds as the Falcons snapped a four-game losing streak.
NOTES
- The Penmen had a chance to move into a first-place tie in the NE10 when Assumption lost to American International College 53-49. SNHU is currently tied for third place at 10-4 in the NE10. Â
- Bentley won both meetings with SNHU, having won in Manchester 63-51 on November 19. The Falcons lead the all-time series 47-8.
- SNHU is 35-12 (.745) since the start of the 2021-22 season.

- The Penmen will head to Adelphi University this Saturday for an NE10 game with the Panthers (1:30 p.m.).Â
