MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University baseball team, fresh off its second straight NE10 and NCAA East Region titles, is hoping for a third consecutive trip to Cary to compete for a National Championship.
SNHU, ranked sixth in the Collegiate Baseball Pre-Season NCAA Division II Poll and ninth in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) NCAA Division II Top 25, was originally set to open up its season Friday (Feb. 17) with a three-game set at Colorado Mesa University, but snow has forced the cancelation of that series. Instead, the Penmen have pivoted and will now take on Post University at Mitchell College. The teams play Friday (4 p.m.) and then will meet in a doubleheader Saturday beginning at 1 p.m.
