Female Athlete of the Week: Ashley Corcoran - Women's track & field - Gr.
Ashley Corcoran (East Longmeadow, Mass.) was named Most Outstanding Track Performer and Most Valuable Athlete, as women's track & field captured its first indoor NE10 Championship title in program history on Friday at the Track at New Balance in Boston. Corcoran won the 5,000m (18:40.96) Thursday, and then finished first in both the 3,000m (10:40.80) and mile (5:03/77) races Friday.
Male Athlete of the Week: Cam Caraher - Baseball - Jr., OF
Cam Caraher (Plymouth, Mass.), who was chosen as the NE10 Player of the Week earlier Monday, slashed .600/.667/.800/1.467 during a 3-0 week for baseball, as he went 6-for-10 at the plate with three runs scored, four RBI and a walk. He was 2-for-3 with a walk, run and RBI in Friday's season-opening 8-2 victory at Post University. Caraher was then 4-for-7 with two runs and three RBI in Saturday's doubleheader sweep of the Eagles.

Notes:
- Women's basketball split a pair of games last week, defeating American International College, 65-48, Wednesday, before suffering a 63-51 loss at 23rd-ranked Assumption University on Saturday. A win in Tuesday's regular-season finale would give the Penmen a top-three seed, a first-round bye and a quarterfinal home game in the upcoming NE10 Championship.
- Junior Jess Knight (Hanover, Mass.) posted 13.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks, while shooting 60 percent (12-20) from the floor. Knight recorded 10 points (5-8 FG), six rebounds and three blocks against American Int'l, before notching 16 points (7-12 FG, 2-4 FT) and four boards versus Assumption.
- Senior Adriana Timberlake (Braintree,  Mass.) tallied 18 points (6-12 FG, 4-7 3-FG, 2-2 FT), three assists and two steals against AIC, with graduate student Mia Roy (Bedford, N.H.) matching her season high with 17 points (4-8 FG, 3-4 3-FG, 6-6 FT), four rebounds and two steals.

- Men's basketball went 2-0 last week and has now won 14 of its last 15, including eight straight. The Penmen notched an 86-60 victory over American International College on Wednesday and cooled off a red-hot Assumption University team with a 74-69 win Saturday.
- Sophomore Evan Guillory (Springfield, Mo.) continued his hot streak, averaging 19.0 points and 3.0 rebounds per game, while shooting 70 percent (14-20) from the field and 71.4 percent (10-14) from the stripe. Guillory scored 14 points (6-8 FG, 2-2 FT) and grabbed a pair of rebounds against American Int'l, before erupting for a career-high 24 points (8-12 FG, 8-12 FT) and four rebounds at Assumption.
- Graduate student Ryan Layman (Wrentham, Mass.) posted 14.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game, while hitting on 66.7 percent (12-18) of his shots from the floor and 80 percent (4-5) from the stripe. He notched 12 points (6-9 FG), eight rebounds, two assists and three steals against AIC and then went for a season-high 16 points (6-9 FG, 4-5 FT) and six boards at the Greyhounds.
- Sophomore Jordan Brathwaite (Silver Spring, Md.) poured in a game-high 21 points (8-10 FG, 5-6 3-FG) to go wth six rebounds and two assists versus the Yellow Jackets, while junior Noah Kamba (Lynn, Mass.) added 14 points (5-8 FG, 4-6 3-FG), three assists and two rebounds.
- Sophomore Ethan Okwuosa (No. Haven, Conn.) recorded 20 points (8-18 FG, 3-5 3-FG, 1-1 FT), eight rebounds and two steals in the victory at Assumption.

- Men's ice hockey went 2-0 last week, wrapping up the regular season with a pair of 3-2 victories at Assumption University on Friday and Saturday to clinch a first round home game in the NE10 Championship. The Penmen won Saturday's contest 3:35 into overtime.
- Junior Matt Amante (West Hempstead, N.Y.) notched three points on two goals and an assist. He scored Friday and then found the back of the net and dished a helper Saturday.
- Senior George Thurston (Plymouth, Mass.) collected three assists, including two Friday night.
- Senior Tim Usalis (Danvers, Mass.) recorded a goal and an assist Friday.
- Junior Derek Flynn (Dracut, Mass.) handed out a pair of helpers Saturday, including on the overtime winner by freshman Ryan Pomposelli (Needham, Mass.).
- Senior Andrew Ray (Cumberland, Maine) tallied a goal Friday, with graduate student Travis Quigley (North Babylon, N.Y.) doing the same Saturday.
- Graduate student Adam Mercer (Belchertown, Mass.) made 30 saves Friday night, with freshman Nathan Loisel (Blainville, Quebec) stopping a career-high 54 Saturday night. Loisel was named the NE10 Rookie of the Week earlier Monday.

- Women's track & field captured its first indoor NE10 Championship title in program history on Friday at the Track at New Balance in Boston.

- Freshman Maggie McInerney (Acton, Mass.) won the pentathlon Thursday with a new program record 2,937 points.
- Junior Ava Gravell (Windham, N.H.) set two new program records on Friday. She ran a 57.08 in the 400m to place second. Her 5.40m in the long jump was a program record and good for a fifth-place finish.
- Junior Kelsey Seamans (Methuen, Mass.), named the winner of the prestigious Elite 24 Award for the best grade-point average among all competitors at the Championship.

- Softball went 3-2 to open its season in No. Myrtle Beach, S.C. The Penmen split with Molloy College on Friday, swept Bloomfield College on Saturday and lost in extra innings to Felician University, with the second game with the Golden Falcons being postponed.
- Junior Bella Dickinson (Scarborough, Maine) hit .357 (5-14) with two RBI, five runs scored and four walks.
- Sophomore Jordyn Resetar (Hanover, Pa.) was also 5-for-14 (.357) with two RBI, scoring a run and drawing a walk.
- Freshman Gianna La Spina (Bellmore, N.Y.), who was chosen as the NE10 Rookie of the Week earlier Monday, also went 5-for-14 (.357) with two RBI and a run scored.
- Junior Alyssa DiMauro (Scarborough, Maine) finished the weekend 5-for-15 (.333), knocking in a team-best four runs, scoring twice and drawing a pair of walks.
- Junior Leine McKechnie (Passadumkeag, Maine) went 1-1 with two saves and a 1.58 ERA in five relief appearances. She allowed four earned runs and struck out 12 in 17-and-two-thirds innings.Â
- Sophomore Hannah DeRock (Hunt, N.Y.) made three starts, going 1-0 with a 2.71 ERA, striking out five over 10-and-a-third. She picked up the win with four scoreless innings in her Penmen debut – the 3-1 win over Molloy in game one Friday.

- Baseball, ranked sixth in the Collegiate Baseball Pre-Season NCAA Division II Poll and eighth in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) NCAA Division II Top 25, had its three games at Colorado Mesa University canceled due to snow, but quickly pivoted to play three at Post University, earning the sweep to begin the season 3-0. The Penmen won, 8-2, Friday, and then swept Saturday's doubleheader with wins of 9-1 and 9-0.

- Senior Jeffrey Praml (W. Bridgewater, N.J.) tossed four scoreless innings, giving up three hits, while fanning four and walking one in Saturday's 9-1 victory in game one.
- In Friday's opener, graduate student Josh Roberge (Chelmsford, Mass.) allowed just one earned run on three hits over five-and-two-thirds, punching out seven and walking only one.
- Junior Mike LaRocca (Vero Beach, Fla.) put together a slash line of .455/.625/.636/1.261, as he went 5-for-11 with five walks, three RBI and two runs scored.
- Freshman Jake Pisano (Hamden, Conn.) went 3-for-4 with a walk, a run scored and three RBI in his first collegiate game – the opening contest of Saturday's doubleheader.

Completed Seasons
Women's Soccer (6-6-5, 3-4-5Â NE10)
Notes:
- Women's soccer finished 6-6-5, including 3-4-5 in the NE10, and earned the No. 8 seed for the NE10 Championship. The Penmen traveled to the top-seeded College of Saint Rose for the quarterfinal round and suffered a 3-0 defeat.
- The Penmen did enough, however, to collect their eighth NCAA Championship berth, including fifth straight. SNHU collected the No. 7 seed and traveled to play second-seeded Franklin Pierce University in the opening round of the NCAA East Regional, absorbing a 3-1 loss.
-SNHU began the season 5-0-0 for the second straight campaign and just the third time since 1994.
- Junior Alyssa Anderson (Londonderry, N.H.) and graduate student Ai Inoue (Tokyo, Japan) were selected to the NE10 All-Conference Third Team, while freshman Georgia Greene (Clifton Park, N.Y.) received an All-Rookie Team nod.
Men's Soccer (8-6-4, 5-3-3Â NE10)
Notes:
- Men's soccer went 8-6-4, including 5-3-3 in NE10 play, earning the No. 4 seed and a quarterfinal home contest in the NE10 Championship. SNHU defeated the fifth-ranked College of Saint Rose in penalty kicks, but suffered loss at top-seeded Franklin Pierce University in the semifinal round.
- The Penmen put together a stretch in which they were unbeaten in seven of eight matches (4-1-3) from Sept. 17-Oct. 15.

Field Hockey (8-11, 7-6Â NE10)
Notes:
- Field hockey finished the season 8-11, including 7-6 in NE10 play. The team won six of its final nine games to make a late playoff push and wound up securing the No. 8 seed for the NE10 Championship.
- The Penmen traveled across town to play top-seeded Saint Anselm College and actually grabbed a 1-0 lead, but the Hawks would tie it and then snap a 1-1 tie with just 1:36 on the clock in the fourth quarter.

Annemartine Christis ('s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands) collected NE10 All-Conference Second Team honors for the second consecutive season, while freshmanÂ
Emma Peeters (Wageningen, The Netherlands) landed a spot on the Third Team. Peeters also received an All-Rookie Team nod and was joined by classmateÂ
Anne Wiersma (Velhoven, Netherlands).
Women's Volleyball (19-8, 9-3 NE10)
Notes:
- Women's volleyball put together a historic season, finishing 19-8 to set a new program record for wins that surpassed the 1986 squad. The Penmen qualified for the NE10 Championship for just the sixth time, won their first NE10 postseason match, hosted an NE10 postseason match for the first time, received their first NCAA postseason berth, claimed their first NCAA postseason victory, captured their first NCAA East Region title and advanced to the NCAA National Championships in Seattle for the first time, falling to top-seeded and nine-time NCAA National Champion Concordia University, St. Paul in an NCAA Championship quarterfinal match.
- Redshirt-junior Ana Pimenta (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) earned NE10 All-Conference Second Team honors, while graduate student Sara Montefameglio (Turin, Italy) and sophomore Deanne Wilson (Buffalo, N.Y.) were recognized with Third Team nods.
Cross Country
Notes:
- Women's cross country turned its best season in program history, winning its first NE10 Championship and NCAA East Region titles, as part of a four-win campaign out of the seven meets they competed in. The squad made the NCAA National Championship for just the second time (2019) and finished 32nd at Chambers Creek Regional Park in University Place, Wash., while placing first among East Region teams.
- Graduate student Ashley Corcoran (East Longmeadow, Mass.) claimed individual NE10 (21:26.7) and NCAA East Region (21:55.4) crowns, while finishing 88th, and first of the 23 runners from the East Region taking part in the race, at Nationals (21:57.0). Those three runs slot into the program record book as the third-, seventh- and eighth-fastest 6Ks.
- Corcoran was named the USTFCCCA East Region Athlete of the Year, as well as the NE10 Athlete of the Year, while head coach Rich Marcello was tabbed the USTFCCCA East Region Coach and NE10 Coach of the Year. Freshman Corrina Obernesser (Westminster, Colo.) was selected as the NE10 Rookie of the Year.
- Corcoran was joined on the NE10 All-Conference First Team by juniors Kelsey Seamans (Methuen, Mass.) and Hannah Bradbury (Seekonk, Mass.). Junior Kaitlyn O'Rourke (Braintree, Mass.) claimed a spot on the Second Team, with graduate student Rose Pitman (Sherill, N.Y.) and senior Sarah Zarakotas (Deerfield, N.H.) receiving Third Team accolades.
-Â The men captured one win, but finished in the top five four times this season. They were fourth at the NE10 Championships and fifth at the NCAA East Regionals to narrowly miss out on an NCAA National Championship berth.
- Graduate student Jacob Logan (Norwood, Mass.) placed third at NE10s (25:03.1) and second at the NCAA East Regional (31:41.1) to qualify for Nationals as an individual. He finished in a time of 31:21.10 to place 108th. The mark set a new personal best for Logan by 20 seconds and was just four seconds shy of matching the school record. It stands as the third fastest 10k in school history. Logan was the first of 24 runners representing the East region to finish.
- Logan was chosen as an NE10 All-Conference First Team honoree, while freshman Dillon Labonte (Lee, N.H.) and sophomore Carter Sylvester (Northwood, N.H.) were named to the Second Team.
