Senior Jeff Liss (Port St. Lucie, Fla.) totaled a 146 through 36 holes, as the Southern New Hampshire University men's golf team opened its spring season Monday at the Spring Bulldog Clash, hosted by Barton College, tying for 17th at the Caledonia Golf & Fish Club.

INDIVIDUAL PERFORMERS

• Liss opened the day with a 2-over 72 in the first round and then added a 74 for the 146 that has him tied for 42nd.
• Sophomore Jack Pepin (Plaistow, N.H.) carded a 73 in the first round and a 76 in the second for a 149.
• Freshman Sean Dully (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) went 74-77 for a 151.
• Freshman Evan Rollins (Laconia, N.H.) matched Dully's opening-round 74, but then turned in an 80 in the second round to total 154.
• Junior Alex Korkuc (So. Setauket, N.Y.) did not factor into the scoring with an 82 in the first round and a 90 in the second for a 172.

NOTES

• Senior Jared Mscisz (Danvers, Mass.), playing as an individual, shot an 87 in the opening round, followed by an 88 in the second.
• Barton (551) is in first place and holds a nine-shot lead over Limestone University (560).
• Barton's Daniel Adkins sits atop the individual leaderboard with a 7-under 133, just one stroke head of Wingate University's Filippo Grossi (134).
• Liss is tied for the lead in par 3 scoring, sitting 2-under.
• The Spring Bulldog Clash is comprised of 118 golfers from 22 different institutions.
