Men's Golf Eighth After Two Rounds of Sacred Heart Fall Invitational

Senior Sean Dully (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) totaled a 3-over 147 through two rounds Monday at the Sacred Heart Fall Invitational, as the Southern New Hampshire University men's golf team is in eighth place at Great River Golf Club.

INDIVIDUAL PERFORMERS
  • Dully opened the season with a 1-over 73, before carding a 74 in the second round.
  • Sophomore Sam Maurice (Auburn, N.H.) tied for 28th at 151 after shooting 76-75.
  • Sophomore Andrew Surprenant (Boscawen, N.H.) shaved six strokes off his opening round with a 75 in round two, but is at 156.
  • Sophomore Stephen Ramos (Danville, N.H.) rounded out the Penmen scorers with a 159 (81/78).
  • Junior Mitchell Cormier (Walpole, N.H.) opened with a 77, but had his second-round 84 dropped from the team score. He is at 161 for the tournament.
NOTES
  • The University of Rhode Island (570) leads Sacred Heart by three shots.
  • URI's Luke Stennett (69/67) is atop the individual leaderboard at 8-under 136, which is one stroke better than SHU's Pablo Lacayo (67/70).
  • The Sacred Heart Fall Invitational is comprised of 80 golfers from 13 different institutions.
