KEY MOMENTS
- Terrones scored twice in the first 1:15 and completed the first quarter hat trick with a goal with 55 seconds left as the Penmen took a 6-2 lead.
- The Penmen held Saint Rose off the board in the second quarter, extending the lead to 9-2 on goals by Valentine, Auger, and Krutz.
- The teams combined for 13 goals in the third quarter with Pietz scoring twice and Auger adding a goal. SNHU took a 16-8 lead after three quarters
- Terrones and sophomore Aiden Anthony (Stoneham, Mass.) scored in the fourth quarter.Â
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Senior Gennaro Marra (Derry, N.H.) recorded two goals and collected six ground balls.
- Saint Rose had a 32-31 edge on ground balls.
- SNHU was successful on 24 of 28 clears. Saint Rose was 18-22.
- The Golden Knights turned it over 21 times, SNHU had 16.
- The Penmen were 2-for-3 in man-up situations while the Golden Knights were 1-for-2.
NOTES
- SNHU leads the all-time series with the Golden Knights 7-3 including wins in three straight.
- Anthony's goal was his first of the season. He had two last year as a freshman.
- Valentine (99 goals, 35 assists) has 134 career points, which ranks 13th all-time in program history.
