Cody Fleming (Plaistow, N.H.) scored a career-high four goals as men's lacrosse defeated Assumption University 11-6 in an NE10 game on Wednesday night at Mark A. Ouellette Stadium.

KEY MOMENTS
- The Penmen exploded for five goals in the first 8:43 of the game and led 5-0 at the end of the first period.
- Auger scored twice in the quarter, graduate student Chris Valentine (Derry, N.H.) found the net, as did Antonetti and Fleming.
- The Greyhounds scored the only two goals of the second quarter to close to 5-2.
- Pietz scored 54 seconds into the third quarter, Fleming tallied less than two minutes later to put the Penmen back up by five.
- Assumption would again answer with a pair of goals by Zach Barden to make it 7-4 after three quarters.
- Fleming scored twice in quick order at the beginning of the fourth to make it 9-4, and goals by Pietz and junior Jack Terrones (Anaheim, Calif.) helped keep the Penmen in front.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- The shots were even at 44 with DePaul making 13 saves, and Assumption's Colin Malone making 12 saves.
- The Penmen had 16 turnovers and the Greyhounds had 15.
- SNHU went 23-for-23 on clear attempts while Pace was 14-for-17.
- SNHU also had a 28-22 advantage on ground balls, and 11-10 on face-offs.
- The Penmen were 1-2 in man-up situations while the Greyhounds were 1-5.
- Zach Barden had a hat trick for Assumption.
