Emma Thibodeau (Danvers, Mass.) had a goal and an assist in the win.
STANDOUT PERFORMERS
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Thibodeau scored what proved to be the game-winner at 10:24 taking a strong feed off an inbound from Fischer.
- SNHU made it 2-0 just 1:22 after the first goal when Crocombe took a pass from Thibodeau and finished off with a shot in close.
- Adelphi scored its only goal 12:29 off a penalty corner on a tip-in by Amanda Lee.
- The Penmen took a 3-1 lead at 17:44 with van de Poll scoring off a feed from Wiersma.
NOTES
- The Penmen outshot Adelphi 14-4 in the first half, and 18-13 for the game.
- Adelphi had a 10-3 advantage on penalty corners. The Panthers failed to convert a fourth quarter penalty stroke when Emiline Biggin hit the crossbar.
- Crocombe's goal was the first of her career.
- Thibodeau scored her first goal of the season and seventh of her career.
- SNHU had dropped three straight to the Panthers, including 9-1 last year when Adelphi won the Northeast-10 Championship
- Adelphi leads the all-time series 7-2.

- The Penmen will play the next three contests on the road including Tuesday at Saint Michael's College (5 p.m.). The next home game at Larkin will be on Wednesday, October 4 (6:00 p.m.) when the Penmen host Saint Anselm College.
