Female Athlete of the Week: Minke van de Poll - Field Hockey - Fr., M
Minke van de Poll (Oosterbeek, Netherlands) potted a pair of goals during a 2-0 week for field hockey. van de Poll scored her first career goal just 3:45 into the extra session to send the Penmen to a 1-0 victory over Franklin Pierce University on Wednesday and put home an insurance tally in the 18th minute of Saturday's 3-1 win versus Adelphi University.

Male Athlete of the Week: Evan Rollins - Men's Golf - So.
Evan Rollins (Laconia, N.H.) earned individual medalist honors at the Granite State Opener, which was held Monday and Tuesday at Beaver Meadow Golf Course in Concord, N.H. Rollins matched a seven-year-old, two-round program record with a 9-under 135. He carded a 4-under 68 in the opening round, before firing a 5-under 67 to close it out.


Women's Soccer (3-1-2, 0-0-1 NE10)

Notes:
- Women's soccer, ranked 16th in the latest United Soccer Coaches Division II Top 25 Poll, went 0-1-1 last, suffering its first loss of the season, 1-0, at Queens (N.Y.) College on Tuesday, before playing to a 4-4 draw at Assumption University on Saturday.
- Sophomore Georgia Greene (Clifton Park, N.Y.), freshman Liv Gantelius (Lidingoe, Sweden), and graduate students Anne Sikkema (Leeuwarden, Netherlands) and Victoria Roulston (E. Falmouth, Mass.) all scored in the Assumption tie.
- Sophomore Claudia Keith (Danvers, Mass.) made five saves during the week, stopping two of three at Queens before making three stops against the Greyhounds.

- Men's soccer, ranked ninth in the latest United Soccer Coaches Division II Top 25 Poll, went 0-1-0 last week, dropping a 2-0 decision at Saint Anselm College on Wednesday.
- Junior Preston Neal (Windham, N.H.) made three saves in the loss.


Women's Volleyball (5-5, 0-0 NE10)

Notes:
- Women's volleyball returned to action following a nine-day layoff and went 0-2 during the week. The Penmen dropped a 3-1 decision at Franklin Pierce University on Tuesday and then lost a three-set affair at Bentley University on Saturday.
- Redshirt-senior Ana Pimenta (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) registered a team-high 21 kills (3.00 k/s), including 11 against the Falcons.
- Junior Carmen Bernardis (Trieste, Italy) posted 16 kills (2.29 k/s), three blocks (0.43 b/s) and five digs (0.71 d/s). She notched 10 kills on .381 hitting against the Ravens and then tallied six kills, two blocks and three digs versus Bentley.
- Sophomore Ella Koelb (Auburn, N.H.) tallied 38 assists (5.43 a/s), three aces (0.43 sa/s), 11 digs (1.57 d/s) and two blocks (0.29 b/s). Koelb chipped in 11 assists and three digs at Franklin Pierce, before registering 27 assists, two aces, eight digs and a pair of blocks at Bentley.

Notes:
- Field hockey went 2-0 last week, outlasting Franklin Pierce University, 1-0, in overtime Wednesday, before scoring a huge, 3-1 victory over Adelphi University on Saturday.
- Freshman Minke van de Poll (Oosterbeek, Netherlands) scored her first career goal just 3:45 into the extra session to send the Penmen to victory over the Ravens and put home an insurance tally in the 18th minute against Adelphi.
- Senior Emma Thibodeau (Danvers, Mass.) had a goal and an assist in the Adelphi win.
- Freshman Amelia Crocombe (Somerset, England) also scored against the Panthers.
- Sophomore Anne Wiersma (Veldhoven, Netherlands) recorded an assist in each contest.
- Sophomore Emma Peeters (Wageningen, Netherlands) turned away 11 of the 12 shots she faced during the week. Peeters stopped all four FPU shots for her first shutout of 2023 and then made seven saves versus Adelphi.

Notes:
- Women's tennis wrapped up the ITA East Regional Championships in Flushing, N.Y., at the USTA National Tennis Center on Monday, before going 1-1 in a pair of matches. The Penmen blanked Saint Michael's College, 7-0, on Wednesday, before suffering a 5-2 loss to Adelphi University on Friday.
- Sophomore Alina Kupfer (Baldham, Germany) advanced to the final of the singles bracket at the ITAs, but fell to St. Thomas Aquinas College's Ebba Rosberg, 7-6 (8-6), 3-6, 10-8. Kupfer then went 3-1 in the two dual matches. She was 1-1 at No. 1 singles, blanking Emma Gredenhag (Saint Michael's), 6-0, 6-0, before suffering a 6-3, 7-6 (7-1) loss to Sanne Selmer Gilje (Adelphi). Kupfer also combined with graduate student Verena Weindl (Munich, Germany) for a pair of No. 2 doubles victories. They rolled to a 6-0 win versus Saint Michael's Grace Saunders and Molly Gannon and also downed Adelphi's Roisin Boyd and Katarina Liedbeck, 6-4.

Notes:
- Men's tennis finished up at the ITA East Regional Championships in Flushing, N.Y., at the USTA National Tennis Center on Monday, before going 1-1 in two dual matches. The Penmen defeated Saint Michael's College, 6-1, on Wednesday, before dropping a 5-2 decision to Adelphi University on Friday.
- Senior Jesse Den Hartog (Amsterdam, The Netherlands) punched his ticket to the singles bracket finals at the ITAs, but was handed a 7-5, 7-5 loss by Queens (N.Y.) College's Roni Rikkonen. Junior Jonathan Berling (Moss, Norway) and sophomore Melvin Vix (Thionville, France) also advanced to the finals in the doubles bracket, but fell to St. Thomas Aquinas College's Seth Newman and Henry Ronnberg, 7-5, 6-4. Berling was looking for his third straight ITA East Regional Championship doubles title.
- Den Hartog went 4-0 in the two dual matches. Den Hartog downed Saint Michael's Jack Li, 6-2, 6-2, at No. 2 singles and then defeated Adelphi's Casey Recci, 4-6, 6-2, 7-6 (7-3) at No. 2 singles. Den Hartog also teamed with junior Cade Nadeau (Quispamsis, New Brunswick) at No. 1 doubles for a 6-4 win against SMC's Julius van den Broek and Sergio Barroso, and a 6-3 victory against Adelphi's Recci and Marko Jovanovic.
