Deanne Wilson (Buffalo, N.Y.) totaled 25 kills Saturday as the Southern New Hampshire women's volleyball team split matches at Bentley University. The Penmen defeated Wilmington University 3-1 and fell 3-0 to the host Falcons. Freshman
Addie Garn (Gilbert, Ariz.) tallied 65 assists for the Penmen.

- Wilson - 25 kills, 22 digs, 3 assists
- Garn – 65 assists, 5 aces, 14 digs, 2 blocks
- Sophomore Elsa Gilmore (San Juan Capistrano, Calif.) – 15 kills, 4 blocks
- Sophomore Angela Mateos (Seville, Spain) – 11 kills, 3 blocks
- Senior Julia Cavalcanti (Vineyard, Utah) – 11 kills, 5 blocks, 2 digs, 3 aces
KEY MOMENTS – WILMINGTON MATCH
- Southern New Hampshire notched seven of the first eight points, including a pair of kills for Mateos and Wilson, and never trailed in the first set.
- Wilmington closed to 11-10 in the second set before the Penmen created some breathing room with six consecutive points. SNHU had 15 kills and made just three errors.
- Errors did prove costly in the third set when Wilmington had 11 kills and made two errors.
- In the final set, SNHU went on a pair of 6-1 runs to secure the match victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE – WILMINGTON MATCH
- Set scores were 25-14, 25-17, 17-25, and 25-19
- Wilson had a double-double with 20 kills and 11 digs.
- Senior Eyleen Dias (Plymouth, Mass.) also had 11 digs for the Penmen.
- Garn's 43 assists marked the third time she has had at least 40 in a match this season.
- Gilmore had 11 kills and Mateos had eight kills.
- SNHU outhit the Wildcats .250 to .149 for the match.
- The Penmen had 12 aces to five for Wilmington. Each team had six blocks.
KEY MOMENTS – BENTLEY MATCH
- The Falcons used a 5-0 run to open a 7-1 lead in the first game en route to the win.
- The Penmen scored the first point of the second set but quickly fell behind with the Falcons reeling off nine straight points.
- The Penmen closed to within two points twice midway through the third set. A kill by Mateos brought SNHU to within 12-10, as close as the Penmen would get.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE – BENTLEY MATCH
- Set scores were 25-13, 25-11, and 25-18
- Junior Caelan Cook (Indian Harbour Beach, Fla.) recorded five kills, as did Wilson.
- Dias collected a team-leading 14 digs
- Garn handed out 22 assists and had five digs
- Cavalcanti led the Penmen with six kills in the Bentley match.
- The Falcons outhit the Penmen in each set, finishing at .404 to .104 for the match
- Bentley had a 2-1 edge on service aces and a 10-6 advantage on blocks
NOTES
- Southern New Hampshire had lost a match to the Wildcats 3-0 in Wilmington on Sept. 13. The Penmen lead the all-time series 4-1.
- Bentley defeated the Penmen for the second time this season. The Falcons lead the all-time series with SNHU 28-5. Today's match was a non-conference contest with the Falcons.

- The Penmen return to the court on Tuesday, Oct. 29 (7 p.m.) for an NE10 contest at Pace University.
- SNHU is back home Friday, Nov. 1 (7 p.m.) when it plays host to Southern Connecticut State University at the Stan Spirou Field House.
