- SNHU leads the all-time series with SCSU, 59-26, and had won seven of the last eight, including six straight, but sees the winning streak come to an end as the Owls avenge last season's 75-60 loss to the Penmen in the NE10 title game in Manchester. Southern Connecticut also vanquishes a two-game losing streak at home against SNHU, as it defends its home floor for the first time since Jan. 14, 2020 (77-76).
- Grant's double-double is the third of his career.
- Greene is averaging 13.5 rebounds per game through the first three contests of year.
