KEY MOMENTS
- New Haven led, 22-18, more than 10-and-a-half minutes into the contest when a 3-pointer from senior Jhamyl Fricas (Lawrence, Mass.) sparked a 17-4 rush that put Southern New Hampshire on top, 35-26, with 3:34 remaining in the opening half. Henderson led the way with seven points during the stretch, while the Penmen bench contributed eight. SNHU would bring a 39-32 advantage into the break.
- Five different scorers, including Grant with six, contributed to a 13-3 run that widened the gap to 18 at 56-38 less than four-and-a-half minutes into the second half. New Haven would get as close as 11 with under 10 minutes to play when eight-in-a-row gave Southern New Hampshire its largest lead of the contest at 69-50 with 6:57 left.
- The Chargers would again creep within 11 with less than three-and-a-half minutes to play, but a Harris triple with 1:19 on the clock sealed it.

- Senior Jordan Brathwaite (Silver Springs, Md.) recorded six points (2-6 FG, 2-3 3-FG) and three rebounds.
- Fricas chipped in three points (1-2 FG, 1-1 3-FG).
- Senior Brenden Choate (Nashua, N.H.) added two points (1-1 FG, two assists, a rebound and a steal in 12 minutes.
- Junior Royce Williams (Manchester, N.H.) registered two points (1-5 FG), two steals and a block.
- Southern New Hampshire narrowly outshot New Haven, 46.4 percent (32-69) to 46 percent (23-50), including 45.8 percent (11-24) to 42.4 percent (14-33) from deep. The Penmen also shot it better at the stripe, 66.7 percent (6-9) to 58.3 percent (7-12).
- The Penmen captured the glass (41-27) and the paint (38-16), and scored more points off turnovers (17-8), second chance points (20-9) and on the fast break (8-4), while the Chargers received more scoring from their bench (24-13) and submitted a more impressive assist-to-turnover ratio (9/14-3/8).
NOTES
- Southern New Hampshire has captured four of its last five, including three straight.
- SNHU leads the all-time series with New Haven, 53-29, and has won four of the last seven meetings. The teams have now alternated wins for the last eight games. After dropping three straight on the road in the series, the Penmen have now won back-to-back contests in West Haven.
- Greene's double-double is his seventh of the season and of his career.
- Grant's double-double is his second of the season and the fourth of his career.
- Greene is averaging 14.4 rebounds per game through the first seven contests of year – tops in the nation.
