KEY MOMENTS
- The Penmen rallied from down five points in the first quarter to tie at 16-16 after a layup by Gordon in the final minute.
- Despite struggling from the floor (3-for-14) in the second quarter, the Penmen took a 30-29 lead into the break. All three field goals in the quarter were three-pointers, and SNHU also hit 5-of-6 free throws in the second frame.
- The Penmen used a 16-5 run to start the third quarter, taking a lead of 46-34 with 2:40 left. SNHU hit 7-12 (58.3%) in the third quarter while the Chargers were 4-16 (25.0%).
- Gordon hit a lay-up with 5:31 to play to give SNHU a 58-53 lead, but the Penmen would not hit a field goal for the remainder of the game as the Chargers rallied for the victory.
