KEY MOMENTS

  • After a pair of free throws made it a seven-point lead for the Ravens, Winterburn drained a 3-pointer to kick off a 15-0 burst that flipped the Penmen in front, 33-25 with 5:08 to play in the half. Winterburn paced the run with eight points. FPU scored the final six points of the half to close the gap to 35-34 at the break.
  • After five lead changes to kick off the second half, a Gordon layup sparked an 11-2 run that made it a 50-42 SNHU lead with 1:11 left in the third quarter. The score was 50-45 at the end of three. Sophomore Maddie Hughes (Columbia, Conn.) contributed five points during the stretch.
  • A 3-pointer from Wager gave SNHU its largest lead of the contest just 44 seconds into the fourth quarter, but a 12-2 blitz from Franklin Pierce later in the frame put the visitors on top, 66-64, with 1:18 to go. With SNHU down one point, a driving layup from Gordon with 24 seconds left in the game put the Penmen up, 68-67. An offensive foul by the Ravens turned the ball over to SNHU with just 13 ticks remaining.
