Female Athlete of the Week: Tori Limone - Women's Track & Field - Sr.
Tori Limone (Stoneham, Mass.) won the javelin with a throw of 38.00m, as women's track & field opened its outdoor season Saturday at its SNHU Spring Invitational at Ouellette Stadium.

Male Athlete of the Week: Ronan DePaul - Men's Lacrosse - Sr., GK
Ronan DePaul (Elkton, Md.) stopped 25 of the 45 shots he faced during a 1-1 week for men's lacrosse. DePaul recorded 12 saves in an 11-6 loss at Assumption University on Tuesday and then turned away 13 of 22 bids in a 12-9 win over the College of Saint Rose on Friday.

Notes:
- Seventh-seeded men's basketball held a 17-point lead early in the second half, but second-seeded and top-ranked Nova Southeastern University chipped away and eventually secured a 68-60 victory Tuesday in the NCAA Championship National Quarterfinals in Evansville, Ind. NSU, the defending NCAA Division II National Champions, who entered the game with the Penmen 97-3 over its previous three season, eventually came up just short of a repeat, falling in the national title game on a 3-pointer in the final second.
- Graduate student Matt Becht (Vienna, Va.) scored a game-high 18 points (4-11 FG, 3-9 3-FG, 7-8 FT) and dished a pair of assists.
- Senior Noah Kamba (Lynn, Mass.) netted 12 points (4-7 FG, 4-5 3-FG) and handed out a pair of helpers.
- Junior Paul Greene (Freeport, Bahamas) posted a season-high 10 points (3-5 FG, 4-6 FT) and four rebounds.

Notes:
- Baseball split doubleheaders at the University of New Haven on Monday and home against Assumption University on Saturday.
- Freshman Nater Wachter (Concord, N.H.) went 5-for-14 (.357) with five RBI, four runs scored, two doubles and a pair of walks, while slashing .438/.500/.938, during the 2-2 week for SNHU. Wachter's big game came in an 11-6 victory in game two at New Haven on Monday when he went 3-for-3 with two doubles, a walk, five RBI and two runs scored.
- Sophomore Kyle Lavigne (Bedford, N.H.) hit .308 (4-13) with a walk and three runs scored during the week.
- Senior Jorge Burgos (Santo Domingo, D.R.) hit his league-leading 10th home run in the 7-2 game-two victory against Assumption and drove in five during the week.
- Over two appearances, sophomore Parker Lendrum (Exeter, N.H.) went 1-0 with a save and a 2.00 ERA, as he allowed six runs – two earned – on 11 hits, while striking out three and walking a pair, in nine innings. Lendrum earned the win in the game-two victory at New Haven, as he relinquished six runs – two earned – on eight hits over six innings, while punching out two and walking two. He came back Saturday and picked up the save with three shutout innings, giving up just three hits and fanning one, in the victory in the second game with Assumption.
- In the second game against the Greyhounds, sophomore Zach Brassill (North Hampton, N.H.) allowed two runs – one earned – on seven hits, while punching out five and walking one, in six innings.

Notes:
- Women's lacrosse suffered a pair of losses to nationally-ranked opponents last week, falling to cross-town rival No. 21 Saint Anselm College, 16-11, Wednesday, before being doubled up, 16-8, by the No. 1 team in the country, Pace University, on Saturday.
- Graduate student Angelina Graziano (Riverhead, N.Y.) collected eight points on seven goals and an assist, as she scored three times against Saint Anselm and then tallied four goals and an assist versus Pace.
- Graduate student Skylar Renaud (E. Waterboro, Maine) notched eight points on four goals and four assists, while also winning nine draw controls. She tallied four goals, three assists and three draw controls against the Hawks.
- Freshman Nicole Mirra (Cicero, N.Y.) stopped 12 of the 35 shots she faced in the two losses over 75:46. She made eight saves and allowed 15 goals in the first 50:13 against Saint Anselm, and then played the first 25:33 at Pace, making four of 12 stops.
- Senior goalkeeper Megan Petko (Monroe, N.Y.) turned away nine of the 18 bids that came her way in 44:14 of action. After allowing one goal in the final 9:47 against the Hawks, Petko denied nine of 17 shots in the last 34:27 versus the Setters.

Notes:
- Men's lacrosse split a pair of games last week, falling at Assumption University, 11-6, Tuesday, before bouncing back with a 12-9 victory over the College of Saint Rose on Friday.
- Graduate student Ryan Auger (Hampstead, N.H.) registered six points on a goal and five assists. He had three helpers against Assumption, as well as a goal and two assists versus Saint Rose.
- Sophomore Matt Antonetti (North Attleboro, Mass.) scored four goals, including two in each contest.
- Freshman Ryan Lynch (Derry, N.H.) also found the back of the net four times, with all four coming against Saint Rose.
- Senior Jack Terrones (Anaheim, Calif.) was the third Penmen to tally four goals, with three against the Golden Knights.
- Graduate student Eric Bua Jr. (Revere, Mass.) and senior Kyle Proulx (Londonderry, N.H.) each recorded four caused turnovers, with Proulx added 10 ground balls.
- Graduate student Gennaro Marra (Hampstead, N.H.) went 25-for-41 on faceoffs and amassed 15 ground balls.
- Senior Ronan DePaul (Elkton, Md.) stopped 25 of the 45 shots he faced, including 13 of 22 in the win.


Women's Track & Field

- Women's track & field opened its outdoor season Saturday at its SNHU Spring Invitational at Ouellette Stadium.
- Senior Tori Limone (Stoneham, Mass.) won the javelin with a throw of 38.00m.
- Sophomore Corrina Obernesser (Westminster, Colo.) started the day with a win in the 3000m steeplechase in 12:00.59.
- Senior Kelsey Seamans (Methuen, Mass.) won the 1500m race with a time of 4:56.93.
- Senior Emma Hallet (Billerica, Mass.) won the high jump in 1.57m and turned in a new PR with a throw of 27.50m in the javelin.
- SNHU also won the 4x400 relay with junior Tori Allen (Litchfield, N.H.), seniors Kaitlyn O'Rourke (Braintree, Mass.) and Riley McDermott (Kennebunkport, Maine), and graduate student Anne Sikkema (Leeuwarden, Netherlands).

- Men's tennis posted a 5-2 victory Wednesday at Saint Michael's College.
- Freshman Jaden Williams (Green Acres, Fla.) went 2-0, including a match-clinching, 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 6 singles against Ruben Weijer. Williams also combined with sophomore Phillipp Roeder (Aystetten, Germany) to double up Jack Li and Garrett Brooker, 6-3, at No. 2 doubles.
- Roeder also won both of his matches, as he added the exclamation point with a 7-5, 6-4 victory at No. 5 singles over Brooker.

Notes:
- Men's golf was idle last week and is scheduled to return to action Friday at the Spartan Shootout, hosted by St. Thomas Aquinas College at Phillip Rotella Golf Course in Mt. Ivy, N.Y.


Completed Seasons

Women's Soccer (10-5-5, 5-2-4 NE10)

Notes:
- Women's soccer finished 10-5-5, including 5-2-4 in the NE10, as they earned the No. 3 seed for the NE10 Championship and advanced to the semifinal round, before suffering a 1-0 loss to second-seeded Adelphi University.
- SNHU earned its ninth NCAA Championship berth, including its sixth straight, collecting the No. 5 seed in the East Region. The Penmen were victorious in their first-round matchup with fourth-seeded Roberts Wesleyan University (2-0), eventually seeing their season draw to a close with a 2-0 second-round loss to the top-ranked College of Saint Rose.
- Sophomore Carly Schofield (Plymouth, Mass.) and senior Alyssa Anderson (Londonderry, N.H.) were selected to the NE10 All-Conference First Team. Senior Kassidy Michael (Manheim, Pa.) collected a Second Team honor, while graduate student Victoria Roulston (E. Falmouth, Mass.) was named to the Third Team. Freshman Liv Gantelius (Lidingoe, Sweden) claimed an All-Rookie Team.


Men's Soccer (10-6-4, 4-5-1 NE10)

Notes:
- Men's soccer closed its season with a 10-6-4 mark, including 4-5-1 in the NE10. The team, which began the season with a six-match unbeaten streak (4-0-2), became just the second No. 7 seed in the history of the NE10 Championship to reach the title match, falling to top-ranked Franklin Pierce University on penalty kicks, 6-5, after battling to a 1-1 draw.
- SNHU secured its 23rd NCAA tournament berth and first since 2016, earning the No. 9 seed in Super Region 1, but fell to eighth-seeded Bloomsburg University, 2-1, in the opening round.
- Sophomore Iago Perez (Oleiros, Spain), senior Nicolas Gonzalez (Santander, Spain) and junior Preston Neal (Windham, N.H.) all earned NE10 All-Conference Second Team honors. Graduate student Rafa Escobedo (Santander, Spain) collected Third Team recognition, while sophomore Tyler Kraft (Londonderry, N.H.) received an All-Rookie Team nod.


Women's Volleyball (13-13, 6-5 NE10)

Notes:
-  Women's volleyball finished 13-13, including 6-5 in league play, as they claimed the No. 5 seed and upset fourth-seeded American International College in five sets in the quarterfinals of the NE10 Championship. After dropping another five-set decision in the semifinals at top-seeded Adelphi University, SNHU received its second straight NCAA Championship berth as the No. 6 seed in the East Region and suffered yet another five-set defeat to third-seeded Bentley University in the quarterfinals.
- Redshirt-senior Ana Pimenta (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) became the first student-athlete in program history to earn All-America, All-Region and All-Conference First Team. Pimenta was chosen as an AVCA All-America Honorable Mention, AVCA East All-Region First Team and NE10 All-Conference First Team.


Field Hockey (10-8, 9-4 NE10)

Notes:
- Field hockey shook off a 1-3 start to win nine of its next 14 contests to end the regular season and earn the No. 5 seed for the NE10 Championship. The Penmen wound up suffering a 1-0 defeat at fourth-seeded Pace University in the quarterfinal round.
- The Penmen posted a signature win at home Oct. 4, defeating fifth-ranked Saint Anselm College, 4-1, for the first win over the Hawks in program history. SNHU had lost 16 straight to its cross-town rival.
- Freshman Minke van de Poll (Oosterbeek, Netherlands) was named the NE10 Rookie of the Year and landed a spot on the All-Conference First Team, setting a new program mark for goals by a first-year player with 14, which led the team.
- van de Poll was joined on the First Team by junior Annemartine Christis ('s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands). Sophomore Anne Wiersma (Velhoven, Netherlands) earned Second Team honors, junior Eliza Bates (Newport, N.H.) claimed a Third Team accolade and freshman Jade Hendriks (Huissen, The Netherlands) received an All-Rookie Team nod.


Cross Country

Notes:
- Women's cross country put together another stellar season, as it finished by qualifying for the NCAA National Championship for the third time in program history. The team placed fourth at the NE10 Championship, with senior Kelsey Seamans (Methuen, Mass.) slotting in fourth to earn NE10 All-Conference First Team honors. Sophomore Corrina Obernesser (Westminster, Colo.) and senior Kaitlyn O'Rourke (Braintree, Mass.) collected Second Team recognition. The team finished third at the NCAA East Regional Championship, punching its ticket to Nationals for the second consecutive season. Seamans was eighth, overall. The Penmen finished in 33rd place in Joplin, Mo.
- The men were sixth at the NE10 Championship, with junior Carter Sylvester (Northwood, N.H.) earning Second-Team All-Conference with a 12th-place run. The team was also seventh at the NCAA East Regional Championship, as Sylvester posted a new personal best to finish 13th.

Women's Basketball (17-11, 15-7 NE10)

Notes:
- Women's basketball won 17 of its first 22 games, earning the No. 4 seed in the NE10 Championship, before falling at home to fifth-seeded Franklin Pierce in the quarterfinal round.
- SNHU claimed its third straight NCAA Championship berth, garnering the No. 5-seed. It met 30-1 Thomas Jefferson University and fell, 91-89, in overtime.
- Graduate student Adriana Timberlake (Braintree, Mass.) was crowned a Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Coaches' All-American. After earning Honorable Mention last season, she is the first two-time All-American in program history and the first to make the 10-member Coaches' team since 1990. Timberlake, who started all 28 games this season, tallying 18.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.8 steals per contest, while shooting 41.7 percent (183-439) from the field, 31.6 percent (54-171) from long range and 73.1 percent (95-130) at the stripe, was also a Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) East All-Region First Team selection, the NE10 Player of the Year and an NE10 All-Conference First Teamer for the second consecutive season.
- Senior Jess Knight (Hanover, Mass.) captured NE10 Second Team accolades and freshman Abby Wager (Mansfield, Mass.) received an All-Rookie Team nod. 


Men's Ice Hockey (14-14-2, 10-9-1 NE10)

Notes:
- SNHU ice hockey advanced to the Northeast-10 Championship game and suffered a heartbreaking, 3-2 loss in double-overtime at Assumption University.
- The Penmen finished third in the conference and recorded playoff wins over No. 6 seed Post University (4-1) in the first round and at second-seeded Saint Michael's College (5-1) in the semifinals.
- Sophomore Brendan Lynch (Nepean, Ontario) led the Penmen in scoring with eight goals and 18 assists for 26 points this season. 
- Sophomore Kurt Watson (London, Ontario) finished as the team's top goal scorer with 13.
- Senior Matt Amante (West Hempstead, N.Y.) had 12 goals and 13 assists for 25 points.
- Freshman Collin Berke (Crofton, Md.) was named to the Northeast-10 All-Rookie Team. He played in 15 games for the Penmen, including starts in both playoff wins over Post and Saint Michael's.  Berke made a school record 72 saves in the NE10 Championship game.
