Ronan DePaul (Elkton, Md.) made a season-high 19 saves, but the Southern New Hampshire University men's lacrosse team dropped a 14-6 decision to eighth-ranked Saint Anselm College on Tuesday afternoon at Ouellette Stadium.

KEY MOMENTS
- Saint Anselm scored twice in the opening 5:45 before Auger put Southern New Hampshire on the board off an assist from junior Aiden Anthony (Stoneham, Mass.) with 7:12 remaining in the first quarter. The Hawks went on a run of three straight goals, including a pair from Jake Davis, to seize a 5-1 advantage with 4:05 to go. Graduate student Eric Bua Jr. (Revere, Mass.) found the back of the net with 38 seconds on the clock, but Saint Anselm answered with just six ticks left to exit the first quarter with a 6-2 lead.
- In a quiet second stanza, another Auger strike was bookended by a pair of Saint Anselm tallies that gave the visitors an 8-3 halftime lead.
- After Saint Anselm opened the second-half scoring 2:38 in, SNHU scored three straight to trim its deficit to 9-6 at the end of three quarters. Auger had two assists during the stretch, while Krutz added a goal and an assist.
- The Hawks would keep the Penmen off the scoreboard for the final 17:53, however, outscoring them, 5-0, in the final frame to pull away.

- Sophomore Matt Antonetti (North Attleboro, Mass.) also scored for the Penmen.
- Graduate student Gennaro Marra (Hampstead, N.H) won nine of 22 faceoffs and collected four ground balls.
- Saint Anselm outshot Southern New Hampshire, 49-32, including 17-6 in the opening stanza.
- The Hawks also held advantages in ground balls (27-24) and faceoffs won (14-10).
- Saint Anselm went 24-for-26 on clears, while SNHU was 18-for-20.

- Saint Anselm leads the all-time series with the Penmen, 26-12, and has won 11 of the last 12 meetings, including 10-in-a-row. The Hawks have also captured six of the last seven at SNHU, as well as five straight.
- Ryan Auger leads the Penmen with 35 points (15 goals, 20 assists). Auger, who has recorded at least two points in each of the nine games this season, ranks second in the NE10 in assists and is tied for fourth in points.
