Mackenzie Bruggeman (Trumbull, Conn.). Sophomore
Peyton Feldman (Foxboro, Mass.) went 4-for-4 with a homer in the first game.

GAME 1: SNHU 9-3
- Senior Ari Ferrier (Middleboro, Mass.) walked to lead off the third, and Feldman followed with a home run to put SNHU up 2-0.
- The Penmen went up 4-0 in the fifth on a bunt by senior Jill Johnson (Raynham, Mass.) and a single by Ferrier.
- The Yellow Jackets picked up a pair of runs in the fifth. Destiny McGrath hit a home run for the AIC's first run.
- After a double by Lineman and a single by Gifford in the top of the sixth, Bruggeman hit her first home run of the day to make it 7-2.
- McKechnie started in the circle and was relieved in the fifth inning by senior Hannah DeRock (Hunt, N.Y.). DeRock allowed one run in her 2.2 innings of work.
GAME 2: SNHU 4-2
- In the top of the third inning, Feldman singled and Lineman homered to make it 2-0.
- Gifford was hit by a pitch and Bruggeman reached on an error as Gifford scored for another run in the top of the third.
- AIC cut the lead to 3-2 in the bottom of the fourth when Brooklyn Cividanes hit a homer off Colbert. Colbert worked into the bottom of the fifth before giving the circle to junior Amelia Freitas (Plymouth, Mass.) Freitas worked scoreless the rest of the game for the save.
- SNHU scored its final run when Bruggeman led off the top of the sixth with a homer.
NOTES:
- Feldman has bumped her average back up to .394. The homer was the first of her career. She has reached base in 14 consecutive games.
- Bruggeman is up to eight home runs on the season – the most for a Penmen in a single season since Emily Carbonneau hit nine in 2019.
- SNHU trails the all-time series with the Yellow Jackets 33-20. The Penmen have won nine of the last 10 meetings.
WHAT'S NEXT
- The Penmen will play a Northeast-10 doubleheader at The College of Saint Rose on Sunday starting at Noon.
- SNHU's next home games will be on Tuesday, April 23 when they host AIC in a non-conference doubleheader at 2 p.m.
